Expectant moms are encouraged to bring their partners to this class, along with four bed pillows from home.

In this unit, we discuss the mother-baby dyad and how some types of breastfeeding instruction can create more struggles and less confidence for mom. Instead, we learn how to take a literal “laid-back” approach by learning how to work easily with baby’s reflexes instead of against them. We cover the 7 Natural Laws of Breastfeeding, developed by Nancy Morbacher, IBCLC, and we use many videos and breastfeeding “rehearsals” to take a unique and totally common sense approach to early nursing.  We recommend couples attend and bring 4 bed pillows from home. This class is offered à la carte.
